It is suggested to change it to unlocking the first-level platform before starting the jump, or to modify the unlocking conditions of the first-level platform. Currently, the first-level platform requires 4 to 5 technologies to unlock, and the pre-technology includes the second-level transition generator technology, which needs approximately 100 bottles. In a palm-sized plot at the beginning, it's not a comfortable choice to study these 100 more bottles, and the extra 10 minutes of transition time is also unnecessary. At this stage, players do not have sufficient firepower and resources to defend for a long time. It is recommended to postpone until after the first-level platform. In addition, I followed the recommendations on the creator's cover and played the K2 and AAIMOD for this playthrough (the center of the cover screenshot is a K2 water storage tank). This led to a greater demand for bottles, and it might take around 500 bottles in total to unlock them. This process was not very comfortable

I didn't use K2 for the screenshot, only K2 tanks mod.

As I already explained it in another post: this particular tech progression will not change.
It was already reduced to 100 red potions with short tech research time (instead of like 250 per tech).

I don't want these tech to be easy to have in the beginning. Still I reduced the time required to get them by a lot already.

This is exactly the goal: make you choose between longer / more expensive techs for the platform, or researching "vanilla" techs to improve your survivability.
