Hey,
it is really cool, that you fix and change the Castra-Mod. Castra is cool but not polished. :-)

In my last playthrough, I only kicked out the Lithium-battery from the Promethium-Sciencepack and added it to microchip. Castra was not only a option but not so important like before.
Do you think, it would be cool to split the option of "Castra Gates Late-Game Progression"?

Hi - thanks for trying out the mod. Also, I noticed you created a German localization PR and eventually your own mod. I would be happy to merge a PR for your localization (and hey, any other language you want to do).

For splitting the "Castra Gates Late-Game Progression" - it's absolutely possible. My concern is that I don't want it to become a mod with a huge number of settings. That can be confusing for users and harder to maintain. That said this is definitely one area I considered, and I'm open to it for the next version.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean on the microchip? Right now the "gates late-game progression" is basically three things:
1. Remove Lithium battery from railgun recipe
2. Remove lithium battery from promethium science pack recipe
3. Remove Battlefield science pack as a part of Research Productivity research

Which of those would you ideally want separated?

The 3. is in my opinion a good option.

Both merged, thanks. There may be a few more descriptions or changed descriptions, so feel free to submit another for anything you notice is missing.

I will add possibly removing battlefield science from Research prod as a separate setting to the open features list.

Also, just to set expectations - not sure that I'm going to do much more polishing. The mod just has inherent balance issues that are hard to work around because of the tech copying. My goal is to get it into a state where there are fewer bugs and where people can change settings that would otherwise prevent them from using or trying the mod.

I'm also a bit "stuck" because I'm trying to, as much as possible, maintain the existing difficulty for people who want "just the bug fixes" while as I said, not creating a huge menu of settings that may be confusing. Tricky needle to thread.
