It would be useful to have a lighter type of boat that accelerates faster but does not have as much inventory space as the cargo ship. The main use I see for this is to deliver supplies to overseas outposts.

Also would be nice as a quick way to get to your outposts. Right now I ride cargo ships as they pass and spend the time in my map blueprinting. If we're requesting new types of ships, I'd really like a crossover with the Vehicle Wagon mod to load up my (fully loaded and fueled) tank onto a ship to take across the sea. A ferry, perhaps?
