⚙️ Send four, not fifty
Need four furnaces on a platform? Send four furnaces. Automatic Small Rocket Deliveries waits for your requests to settle, puts the items together in a rocket and sends them up without adding extras just to fill the rocket.
If another request comes in during the wait, the timer starts again. By default it waits 30 seconds, with a two minute limit so a busy platform doesn't keep the shipment waiting forever. Full rocket requests can start loading straight away.
⚙️ What it does
- Works across your existing platforms and new ones.
- Combines different items and qualities in the same rocket.
- Uses the quantities missing from the hub, including its construction requests.
- Counts cargo already on the way and cargo reserved in other managed silos.
- Uses normal logistic robots, rocket parts and cargo pods. Nothing gets created for free.
- Keeps requests for another planet on that planet.
- Works alongside Quality Platform Upgrades, including higher-quality replacements for common blueprint ghosts.
It doesn't choose a better quality for you. Request rare furnaces and it sends rare furnaces. Quality Platform Upgrades can handle choosing the upgrades.
⚙️ How to use it
Have an automatic rocket silo inside a working logistic network, with robots, stock and the materials to build rockets. Add your requests to the platform hub as usual. There is no need to change the minimum payload on every item.
The mod takes over empty silos which have automatic platform requests enabled. After that, their normal automatic-request checkbox shows OFF. This is expected: the mod makes the loading requests instead. Silos already handling a native shipment finish that shipment first.
Click the rocket silo button at the top of the screen for platform switches and silo status. All platforms are included by default. Untick a silo to give it back to the game's normal automatic delivery system. Unticking a platform pauses this mod's deliveries to it; an unmanaged silo can still supply it.
The waiting time, maximum wait and immediate full-load option are in Mod settings. Turning the mod's global switch off returns its silos to normal automatic requests.
⚙️ A few things to know
The 30 seconds is the batching wait before loading starts. Robots still need time to collect the items, and the rocket has to be ready. If only some of the requested stock is available, that stock can go first and the remainder follows later.
Changing or cancelling a request after loading has started can leave cargo in the silo. The mod won't deliberately send surplus cargo; its status will ask you to remove it. Use dedicated silos for this, without inserters feeding unrelated cargo into them. Shipments already launched can't be recalled.
Platform checks are spread out, up to four platforms each second. Very large fleets take longer to check. The mod doesn't repeatedly search your whole factory for buildings.
