i Make Factoriopedia-support an option

I was trying to continue playing my older save, and was surprised that items don't show any info in Factoriopedia.

In the source code I saw that this was a deliberate decision and not a bug. I must admit that I used FNEI in 1.1 and was looking forward to the Factoriopedia integration. Factoriopedia also doesn't reveal the secret stuff (unlike FNEI), therefore I would suggest to add it as an user setting.

Great mod, I really enjoy the unique challenge!

Maybe at some point, but there are a bunch of other issues with Factoriopedia + ultracube currently (it gets very confused) that would also need to be fixed.

I strongly second this; It has made what is otherwise a very fun mod overwhelming. Every time I come back to my factory it takes half my playtime getting caught up on the relations between items.

Hope it happens soon!

I also second this.
I just playing it. It's fun and currently the only big annoyance is not seing what this item is use for.

I second this. I'm at the stage where I'm getting calcium as a byproduct and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I can scan through all the techs and look at the recipes they unlock, and hope to not miss the one that uses calcium, but that's the QoL that factoriopedia should be solving.

Factoriopedia would not help you here, because there isn't really any way to get rid of it other than to not make it in the first place.

It would still help me by pointing this out that it's a useless recipe and then I don't even start making it. However I have been playing the mod further and I don't understand why you are suggesting I should not be making calcium as it is used in some quite important items.

It would be so much more pleasant to play with Factoriopedia...

vote for Factoriopedia!
it really gets boring trying to find where you can make each new item every time
