g How to make Ultracube more coop-friendly ?

As I blindly started this mod in multiplayer inviting friends to play it , it became obvious that its slow pace did not allow for meaningful cooperative engineering at first - only one player had stuff to do at any time. It can maybe accommodate a second player at some point past the third science (once the cube can be disassembled) and more in the end game , but maybe we should try to figure what can be added to let different players do stuff concurrently. Maybe all players can have an ultracube that does not work if it's anywhere near another ultracube ?

I think there is more than you think that can be done concurrently. It's true that early on there is only one cube to share, but once you get past hand-feeding and start automating delivery of the cube things start to open up. I've played with friends and not really had this issue.

One player could work on logistics system for the cube while another builds factories to turn intermediates into end products. Or different players could handle different cube processes and join them together. I do think multiplayer will work best with collaboration on voice chat so you can puzzle over designs together.
