Reposting this message that I posted 3 years for the original mod by Klonan:

When this mod is enabled, it seems to permanently enable the interface setting 'show all items in selection lists' even if this setting is disabled. For example, the filter list that appears when clicking an empty button in the Quickbar will display all items regardless of research status - this is very annoying when starting a new game. Disabling this mod corrects this and restricts the filter list to only items that have been researched.

@Shadoxa, thank you for supporting this "Continued" version of this mod! Any chance that you can update the mod to resolve this issue please?
