Spidertron Patrols


Send spidertrons on patrols and automatically load and unload them using docks. Adds mid-game spiderling to allow the new features to be used sooner. Simpler alternative to AAI Programmable Vehicles. Allows creating patrols for Lex's Aircraft.

Thanks for pushing out an update that won't run unless you are on experimental.
Our multiplayer server went offline because of this.

Then you should probably make sure that your server only updates to mod versions which it is compatible with. The ingame mod updater checks this before updating, so that's on you or your server software.

The point of them having experimental versions is to catch bugs and flaws with the game engine before it gets rolled out to everyone. They can't do that fully unless mods also make use of new engine functionality which is why I do sometimes push updates to my mods which use experimental-version functionality.

headless servers don't have built-in mod updates. Everyone uses the same common python script. Replacing is on the to-do list. still, a public update for experimental branch is a first for me. first in 8 years, actually.

I suggest you make a feature request / bug report to the author of your auto-update script.
