Lunar Landings

A small overhaul which expands the factory onto Nauvis' moon: Luna. Launch reusable rockets to and from Luna at mid-game. Process moon rock into silicon (for circuitry) and oxygen (for diffusing to nearby machines). Generate research data from telescopes, and conserve water from turbines using steam condensers. Unlock advanced aluminium smelting processes and a unique late-game quantum challenge... Compatible with 2.0. Not yet compatible with Space Age: expected by July-August 2025.

discovered whilst trying to clean up excess foundation so i could re-use it elsewhere:

if an entity that needs lunar foundation to be placed, such as assembling machine, is on top of at least one tile of lunar foundation that is then deconstructed by the player, that entity will be deleted.

deleted, as in, it will cease to exist. it will not be deconstructed and placed in the player's inventory, it will simply vanish from the game.

this is very easy to do by accident.
