Without a Basic Heat Exchanger, it is practically impossible to use Thermal Solar Panels to generate steam, because they heat up to ≈200 degrees, while the minimum temperature for a Heat Exchanger is 500 degrees.
Hello! I've uploaded a new version which fixes this by adding a couple of settings :) Just go to mod settings and you'll now see a 'Disable large thermal panels' and a 'Disable basic heating' setting. Just turn them off, and you should see them in game.
I originally removed the basic heating because I didn't like the idea of tiered heating pipes.
