First off, love the concept of this mod. I tend to play on continent/ocean maps so this is a really fun idea.

I noticed in one of the latest updates that there are pretty major lag spikes so I've had to disable the mod.

Don't have any time right now to debug it and I'm not at the point where I'd be unlocking the tech but I just wanted to let you know.

I think I know what the problem might be...
All because I tried to work around a problem with a patch to a patch to a workaround for another problem, which was supposed to quickly fix a patch to a workaround for yet another problem, where in the meantime I was changing the refresh rate of certain elements... ;))))
in short, ADHD is taking its toll...

Please try version 0.2.5 and tell me if there's a noticeable difference.
