Simple almost minimalistic Quick Start Mod: Start with one of 9 startup kits (Empty, Default, Default-militant, Tiny, Small, Medium, Big, Huge or CUSTOM) to improve or decrease your Factorio experience. The kit can be selected in the mod config settings. You can also choose to put items from kit to your quickbar or to do some research in advance (big, huge or custom kit). Now you can select what to put in which quickbar slot. Multiplayer ready.

Very occasionally if you have heavy logistic bot congestion a logistic bot will crash. This means logistic bots are best used for higher value items like engines or power poles, using them for low value items like ore and copper wire is OK but less resource efficient. The goal is not to stop the use of bots, but to provide a small incentive to use belts in some situations late-game.
Overhauls certain combat mechanics. Walls block most enemy projectiles such as spitters and enemy shotgun shells. Your projectiles can still go over your own walls. Units and structures are assigned the appropriate biological/mechanical and flying/ground-unit/ground-static tags so that can be affected by or immune to certain effects. Has multiple mod options including things like flying units and vehicles to not be affected by acid pools on the ground.
Adds bullet trails to machine gun type bullets. Works with gun turrets, guns, vehicle-mounted guns, and anything else that uses that type of ammo.

This mod adds an additional five tiers of belts to the game, beyond what is currently available from other mods. The fastest belt in this mod is equivalent to 6 express belts. First, venture to the edge of your starting island using trains to find lead, then set sail for offshore oil using tanker ships, dredge metallic nodules from the seabed, and recover titanium from other islands. Finally you'll be transporting materials to faraway lava pools to smelt titansteel, an essential ingredient in rocket parts.
Warptorio2 but the planets thing is a standalone library that can be used by anyone to make and work with planets, surface templates, and simple automation and management of surface-specific events (e.g. only raised if an entity is built on that planets surface) and chunk generation.
