Return to Quinityn, a forgotten Yuoki contract world of purple unicomp seas, buried machinery and Uni-touched wildlife. Land with an empty inventory, salvage the wreckage and rebuild a working industry from local resources, all the way to a home-built rocket. A Factorio 2.1 + Space Age planet for Yuoki Industries and Engines, whose recipes unlock only after you physically land.
Mods introducing new content into the game.
Version: 0.1.3
Date: 2026-11-02
Features:
- Add optional Milestones support. With Milestones installed, your active preset also tracks Quinityn industrial research data (first and at scale), the first YI Constructor, YI Logistiker, YI Constructor Turbo and YI Logistiker Turbo produced, and first kills of each Quinityn native biter and Uni-touched Stomp-a-tron. Saves that already use Milestones keep their current list; use Reset in the Milestones settings to add the entries, after exporting any custom ones.
Bugfixes:
- Keep Mining Drones ore selectors under Mining Drones' control, so Durotal and Nuatreel can be mined before Yuoki industrial refining, including in existing saves affected by the old research gates.
Version: 0.1.2
Date: 2026-11-02
Bugfixes:
- Group the Primitive Cimota with its machine family, industrial salvage with its sorting process, and Technic Sign qualification with signs in Factoriopedia. Keep manual resources together ahead of the separate Cimota conversion rows.
- The Primitive Cimota Restructor can now be upgraded to the Cimota Restructor with upgrade planners (including a blank planner), upgraded blueprints, construction robots and hand fast-replacement. The machine keeps its position, orientation and pipes; burner fuel and ingredients for recipes the full Cimota cannot run are returned, and you choose a new recipe afterwards. This requires Yuoki Industries 1.3.2 or later, where a Cimota without a recipe keeps its direction; the Primitive Cimota Restructor now does the same.
Changes:
- Primitive Cimota conversions now show the same material icons with up/down arrows as the full Cimota: stone and wood point down into UC-A2, coal, iron ore and copper ore point up out of it, and water separation shows water with an up arrow. Their recipes, timings and unlocks are unchanged.
- The Primitive Cimota recipe picker now lists conversions in two rows, as the full Cimota does: stone and wood into UC-A2 first, then coal, copper ore, iron ore and water out of it.
Version: 0.1.1
Date: 2026-11-01
Features:
- Stage Cimota conversions into basic, mineral, chemical, residue and planetary research. Calcite and tungsten require a force member to land on discovered Vulcanus; scrap and holmium require Fulgora. Discovery and remote viewing alone do not qualify.
- Preserve primitive conversions and the local water-to-rocket route. Existing Cimota research and earned stock remain, while moved recipes require their new research. Add five matching conversion demonstrations.
- Add a Quinityn discovery surface preview and animated demonstrations for every progression tip, including primitive conversions, continuous crusher sorting, fluid and power networks, equipment, Yuoki-derived rocket components and infinite research.
- Add dedicated primitive-surplus and petrochemistry tips, and order all tips by their research prerequisites.
- Split Yuoki power into separate fuel, solar, steam and repair researches instead of one bulk unlock.
- Split first-tier energy storage so disposable batteries and the small accumulator stay together, while the large accumulator, flywheel buffer and high-flow compensator are separate researches.
- Split advanced electric generation into separate researches for Generator-S sizes, the high-capacity boiler, high-pressure steam turbine and electric water generator.
- Craft one Primitive Cimota Restructor to turn surplus stone and wood into coal, iron ore and copper ore before any Quinityn science. The later Cimota Restructor remains faster and more efficient for the same basic conversions.
- Added Quinityn-only Uni-touched Stomp-a-trons: half-size organic stompers with Spidertron bodies, yellow sensors and distinct blue-to-purple size palettes.
- Local biter and spitter nests rarely produce Stomp-a-trons along their existing size evolution curves. They drop industrial salvage and ancient data, never wrigglers or pentapod eggs, and have 3%, 7% and 11% laser resistance.
- Added Quinityn-only Uni-touched biters, spitters, worms and nests with purple tints that take 5% less laser damage. New colonies retain the variants; existing enemies are preserved.
- Added 145 native Tips and Tricks progression chapters.
Changes:
- Run substrat neutralization in a chemical plant, whose separate fluid connections support all four fluids; quantities, duration and research stay unchanged.
- Separate Cimota science manufacture from trade. Prepare Fame and its machine before the Laika-Gate, require its quantum accumulator, and keep direct Merchant Sign generation with Mastery. Stage biological exports with their products while retaining early canned-corn exports and material imports.
- Add matching reputation, science and genetic-export demonstrations; update Trade, imported-food and Mastery guidance. Completed research and stock remain, while moved recipes follow their new research owners.
- Keep containers, canned corn and basic fish packages in Industrial packaging; unlock meat, genetic products, organic metal and imported/smoked-food packaging with their production branches. Canned-corn exports remain available before animal or genetic research. Existing research and stock stay; moved recipes and recycling require their new owner.
- Add a native Packaging demonstration and extend the biology and Trade demonstrations with their matching packages and early canned-corn export.
- Add native process demonstrations to the Agriculture, Husbandry, Genetics, Advanced genetics, Industrial biology, Trade and Imported aquaculture and smoking tips, showing their machines, ingredients, products and operating supplies.
- Keep crops and basic husbandry before Trade. Move the Trade Node alongside its Laika-Gate, DNA splicing to Genetics after Quantum, and imported fish with their starters, feed and smoking into Imported aquaculture and smoking after Trade, Husbandry and Slag paving. Keep slurry crops with Husbandry and specialized feed with second-generation livestock. Completed research and placed machines remain; moved recipes require their new research.
- Separate Quantum Composer materials, Alien infusion and infused industrial utilities into research steps. Keep the Infuser with its three initial processes and require infusion before its material consumers. Quantrinum charges now follow their reactor in Quantum power systems; Thermal smelting keeps its charger and hot-block loop without requiring infusion. Completed Quantum research stays completed, while moved recipes require their new research.
- Sort industrial salvage by hand or in a Yuoki crusher. Iron, copper, carbon, stone and timber dressing stay hand-crafted.
- Split industrial refining into chemical processing, biological feedstock, slurry syngas, thermal smelting, foundry melting and asteroid crushing. Completed refining research keeps catalysts, syngas, wood granulation, toxic-dust acid and the basic water generator. Thermal smelting follows Quantrinum research so the heat charger can be built, and unlocks the smelter, hot-block charging and the three smelts together.
- Split contract-world defense into early walls and the BruteMan cannon, Maudlin bullet types, later Durotal, forcefield, and Hardic walls, and separate laser, plasma, chemical, mine, artillery, and D-ZTT research. Krakon walls stay with reactor research. Existing completed defense research does not grant the recipes that moved.
- Powered armor now requires the Eisenwulf laser turret research, because its personal laser defense is built from that turret. Armor and walker recipes are otherwise unchanged.
- Split mechanical-force research into a first solid-fuel step, a medium pump, an electric motor, a heat generator, steam overheating, a steam turbine, and high-temperature generators. Liquid-fuel and gas engines stay on advanced engines with their fuel recipes. Green transport tubes now require the foundry. Completed engine research keeps the solid-fuel engine, orange tubes, blue and red shafts, gauges, and the flyash rocket-fuel recipes.
- Split ore washing into the washer and contaminated-water handling, with separate research for dirt archaeology, rich-dust unicomp compression, slag materials, and slag paving.
- Split Yuoki logistics into the 60-slot chest and both basic inserters, then separate larger chests from requester and buffer chests.
- Stage Yuoki fluid tanks by loaded capacity. Industrial fluid and electric infrastructure keeps pipes, lamps, the medium substation, the signal pole and the 15,000-unit tank. The 50,000-unit and 80,000-unit tanks are separate later researches. The monument and the reputation radar now unlock with Quantrinum, which can build them.
- Added a Quinityn thumbnail for the mod portal and in-game mod browser.
- Added Quinityn-only grey-purple rocks with normal stone/coal drops and small flyash samples; ordinary rocks and other planets are unchanged.
- Reveal industrial science by mining a Quinityn rock and require five flyash per five science packs.
- Give Fatmice its own unlock, with unfiltered scrubbing first and reusable filters/cleaning as a later upgrade.
- Guide flyash collection, pollution control and the existing mixed-fuel-to-rocket-fuel path; preserve filter washing's six ash and zero wastewater.
- Softened natural-ground boundaries with mixed ash/earth margins, cooler soil tones and irregular turf edges; retained ground decorations.
- Added weathered soil, dead turf, decayed shrubs, dry grasses and non-mineable stone fragments between industrial scars.
- Matched volcanic and machinery debris to their terrain; reduced dead-tree placement by 20% while retaining all controls.
- Restricted new cliffs to machinery-covered ruined districts; standardized Quinityn generation-control names.
- Restricted map-generated nests and worms to brown slag, preserving later expansion onto other walkable terrain.
- Opened gaps in roughly half the coastal cliffs; brightened purple dead-tree patches.
- Replaced red-only N4/F7 bulk research with eight crafting milestones; mining an ash-coated Quinityn rock reveals factory-only science.
- Joined landing terrain to a winding dry land connection, with clear passage for biter attacks.
- Replaced inland cliff bands with Fulgora-style coastal cliffs and occasional inland escarpments.
- Added sparse purple dead/decaying trees with independent frequency, coverage and disable controls.
- Anchored the field survey and Yuoki tree beneath planet discovery; require Quinityn science after crafting milestones.
- Split bulk unlocks into production and machine upgrade tiers with representative research icons and guide entries.
- Added independent unicomp coverage/scale, default-on cliffs and Quinityn enemy-base controls.
- Enlarged the bottle badge for 32-pixel inventory readability.
- Reworked coastlines into smaller organic, mostly connected industrial districts; removed the forced starter pond.
- Enlarged and randomized starting N4/F7 patches to 125,000–150,000 units each.
- Clustered collapsed stockpiles into sparse districts with useful starter salvage and reduced overall placement density.
- Added ash, rubble, rocks, cracks, pumice and machinery debris.
- Added original salvage and purple science-bottle icons with a larger, readable Technic Sign badge.
- Restricted planet science production to the three Yuoki factories; rock discovery reveals its recipes.
- Added expensive factory-only Technic Sign qualification without byproducts.
- Replaced the separator with a primitive Cimota appearance, at 0.5 crafting speed; raw F7 burns for 1 MJ.
Fixes:
- Leave Transport Drones' item requests, fluid selectors and fuel helpers under its own control. Signs, flyash and other available goods no longer acquire Quinityn manufacturing research gates, including when loading affected saves.
- Save upgrades stop in-progress Quinityn research when its new prerequisites are unmet. Spent research progress and completed technologies are preserved; resume the research after completing its new gates.
- Yuoki crushers no longer finish salvage sorting away from Quinityn.
- Surveyed saves that never crafted a Primitive Cimota Restructor no longer gain surplus stone and wood conversions on load. Saves that already finished N4 and F7 crushing still receive those conversions.
- Tinted the placed Primitive Cimota Restructor purple so it matches its recipe icon.
- Listed Compile industrial research data with the other science packs, and listed Durotal foundations, Durotal low density structures, and Yuoki processing units beside their normal counterparts.
- Researching Planet discovery Quinityn unlocks rocket travel to space platforms, even when it is the first planet discovered. An existing save that already researched it gains that permission on load. Landing is still required for the field survey.
- Shifted Uni-touched enemies, nests, remains and icons to a royal-violet palette with distinct variant shades, retaining their shading and opacity.
- Corrected the enemy name to Uni-touched: Quinityn natives altered by living off its unicomp waters.
- Carried the Uni-touched purple tint into Quinityn enemy death bursts without changing ordinary enemy particles.
- Preserved normal capture-rocket targeting for Uni-touched Quinityn nests.
- Retry the physical field survey when discovery completes for characters already on Quinityn.
- Limited N4/F7 map-generator planet badges to Quinityn without restoring ore generation elsewhere.
- Matched the hand-sorting recipe icon to its salvage input and added direct guide/tooltip links.
- Added missing localized surface units and custom prototype/interface names.
- Productivity modules can be used while compiling industrial research data. A normal craft still makes five packs; productivity adds bonus packs without extra ingredients.
Compatibility:
- Completed Yuoki power, Industrial energy storage and Advanced electric generation research remains completed. Recipes moved into the new technologies stay locked until those technologies are researched. Placed machines and items remain.
- Quantrinum and advanced electronics research started after this update requires High-flow compensator research. Research already in progress when an existing save is loaded finishes under its previous prerequisites. Completed Quantrinum and advanced electronics research stays completed.
- Crystal accumulator upgrades research started after this update requires Large accumulator research. Research already in progress when an existing save is loaded finishes under its previous prerequisites. Completed Crystal accumulator upgrades research stays completed.
- Completed Ore washing and residue recovery stays completed and keeps the dirt washer, pure-ore smelting, and contaminated-water and mud handling. Archaeology, unicomp compression, slag materials, and slag paving require their new research on an existing save.
- Completed Yuoki logistics stays completed and keeps the 60-slot chest, the fast inserter, and the long inserter. Larger storage and requester or buffer chests require their new research on an existing save.
- Existing completed technologies remain; recipes moved into new upgrade technologies require that new research.
- Existing separator IDs are preserved. Existing generated terrain/ore is not rewritten; use a new map to see the revised starting area.
- Requires Factorio and Space Age 2.1.24 or later and Yuoki Industries and Engines 1.3.1 or later. Update the game and both mods before loading an existing save.
- Removed prototype fields that Factorio 2.1 ignores (replaced icons, old fluid-box sizing and planet generation keys); icons, machines and terrain generation are unchanged.
