heyho, after my first playthrough i want to share my experience with you

Summary:
the mod was in general a fun experience, took me 144 hours, adapting a lot of game mechanics i usually dont bother using (e.g. barreling water from garden floor, ignoring crude oil mostly, so.) and was challanging and suprising depending on the game phase, i played on easy while from mid-game on i didnt utilize all space, expecially on the factory floor.

Phase: Start
as a "first time" player of the mod, from the point you start your first warp its very stressful expecially when you dont bother alot of time to prepare for the jurney like stacking up sience packs. the lack of robots, the multi-tasking between defence, improvement and resource collection while handfeeding most of the stuff is brutally exausting but also fun.

Phase: post-robot
after fighting through the early game, robots are a blessing and make life way easier. the phase cools down a lot of things and give you time for improving your platform while stress levels are way better then the beginning. sadly at some point because of the lack of space you have to wait alot for research to keep up with enemy progress. i would suggest to scale the enemys not linear but more like a exponential-curve. the first stompers are a suprise kick in your jewels :D

Phase: aquillo/late game
depending on your playstyle aquillo is not a big deal while the redesign to take heatpipes into account for builds you usually dont combine them with is cool and challanging, expecially if you want it to be very compact. if you delay your platform expensions the enemies are not a big deal after you got the railgun-tech and start using fusion power. after expending the platform to maximum the phase has its biggest weakpoint: you need a lot of research to be able to overcome the enemies which take hours to complete where you have mostly not much to do anymore beside little optimizations. its a lot of "waiting" for stuff.

Phase: end to finish
This phase was, in my opinion, the weakest on the fun scale. your defense is final, not really much to optimize, warp transitions take forever and you mostly wait for things... for the warp to be ready/done, costly researches to complete, the right warp-target, for the "from the past"-plattform to show up, so. at some point the only thing to do is to hunt for uranium for synthetic promethium which is very boring, expecially when you need to warp multible times to just get a nauvis without uranium, leading to 3 more warps to wait. the final battle is, honestly, no challange for playing, only for UPS, the demolishers are way less dangerous then big piles of stompers because the railguns can just outrange them and the ammo is cheap. those demolishers were no thread to my defense at any point in the late game... i just got so many spawns that my UPS dropped significantly.

Suggestions:
- reduce the uranium-costs for synthetic promethium or add another source for it
- add a few medium/big demolishers in final battle
- make warp containers available a bit earlier

Bugs / Problems:
- as some people already mentioned in this forum, it can happen that the platform from the past can spawn in your platform or very close. i had this happen two times leading to reload.
- when you are on a warp with limited height, when your platform is partly outside of it, i had demolishers spawning ON my plattform and i had no way to counter that. that is very bad when you have a running warpout-timer and need to be lucky for around 4-5 minutes... i once warped back to a previous world to encounter this and it was close to kill the run but i tried it multible times and got lucky.
- piling up the needed promethium-packs took me 3-4 hours and it was very boring
- Warping to "nauvis get some resource" is awesome at the beginning of the game, but horrible in late game. your plattform leave no space for resources and it has mostly no optainable uranium, bad when you need that the most.

Thank you for the great feedback. I do agree that the end is a bit too easy so we will hopefully change scale of that in 0.4
