Tweak It

A self-contained collection of player buffs, robot buffs, and prototype tweaks. One runtime GUI for the slider-style buffs, plus 21 startup settings for the prototype-level changes. Each setting defaults to vanilla and can be toggled or scaled individually -- turn on only what you want.

Runtime GUI (no research needed)

Open via the shortcut bar. 5 saved profiles let you switch between presets without losing values.

  • Move Speed -- character walk/run speed (0 = vanilla, +10 = 11x faster)
  • Reach Distance -- build/mine/interact/drop reach (+10 = 10 tiles farther)
  • Craft Speed -- handcraft speed (+5 = 6x faster)
  • Mining Speed -- hand mining speed (+10 = 11x faster)
  • Robot Speed -- flight speed of every logistic and construction robot (1x to 2500x)
  • Robot Cargo -- extra cargo slots per robot (+1000 = 1001 slots, +10000 = max)
  • Game Speed -- whole-game simulation speed (0.1x to 100x)

Startup Settings (21 toggles)

Found in Mods then Settings then Startup. Each has a tightened, one-line tooltip with a concrete numerical example.

Robots

  • Infinite robot energy -- bots never recharge
  • Items per robot trip -- 1 / 100 / 500 / 1000 / 65535 dropdown
  • Invisible robots -- strips every robot sprite (huge FPS at 10k+ bots)
  • Silent robots -- mutes every robot sound + roboport door beeps
  • Requester over-deliver -- requester/buffer chests accept full payload
  • Robots dispatched per tick -- runtime-global, 3 to 10000

Roboports

  • Robots stored per roboport -- absolute count (0 = vanilla)
  • Big roboport range -- absolute tile radius (0 = vanilla, 1500 = covers ~30x30 chunks)
  • Personal roboport range -- multiplier for mk1 and mk2 (1x to 100x)
  • Robots charging at once per roboport -- 10 / 20 / 50 in parallel

Inserters and chests

  • Inserter speed -- multiplier (1x to 100x)
  • Items per inserter swing -- multiplier (max = 256)
  • Chest slot count -- multiplier (5x = logistic chest 48 to 240)

Stack size customizer

Master preset (Off / Small 1k / Medium 5k / Huge 20k / Extreme 65535 / Custom) plus 9 per-group dropdowns (ores, plates, construction, intermediates, science, nuclear, ammo, Gleba organics, equipment). Never reduces vanilla stack sizes.

Space Age extras

  • No freezing on Aquilo -- machines never freeze, no heat pipes needed
  • Gleba plants anywhere -- yumako/jellynut soils and trees can be placed on any planet
  • Lightning tower range -- multiplier on lightning rod and collector range (1x to 100x, preserves the rod smaller than collector proportion)

Compatibility

  • Factorio 2.0+
  • Space Age compatible (4 settings target Space Age content; they are inert without the DLC)
  • Multiplayer-safe
  • Save-game safe -- every setting is data-stage; toggling will not corrupt existing saves, but startup changes require a restart

Defaults

Every setting ships at vanilla. The mod adds zero items, zero recipes, zero technologies. It only changes prototype values when you opt in.
