All credit goes to KeniaNya for making the original mod:

Updated to work with current versions of Factorio.
Changed MK2 recipe to require more research before unlocking.

The mod has not been updated in 2 years and is no longer functioning in the current version of Factorio, so I took it upon myself to make it work again. Arguably, it is a bit over powered with the amount of stone that can be generated from the pollution filters, but I found it more fun than actually game-breaking.

Save the world from pollution, pave the world with pollution!

====Original Mod Description====
A variation of the pollution filter mod.
This mod introduces the water-based pollution filter machine, which uses water jets to capture contamination in the air and produces polluted water, which in turn you need to purify using a chemical plant.
If you delete (or bitters destroy) a pipe, tank or building that has polluted water, a smoke cloud is released, spreading the collected pollution back into the air.

Machines added:
- Water-based pollution filter
- Water-based pollution filter Mk2

Fluids added:
- Polluted water

Recipes added:
- Water to polluted water in the filtering machine
- Polluted water to clean water in the chemical plant
- Solid pollution. When cleaning the water, solid pollution will be created (10% chance). Can be used to craft stone bricks.

Note: When placing the filters, a green grid shows up, indicating the machine's area of effect. The pollution reduction is chunk-based. The grid will align to the player's position (modding limitation)
