g Valadian avilability vs Crusher Upgrade

Valadian patches seem to have very low richness. This is an issue by itself because moving expired miners is one of the least fun parts of Factorio. Space age added several things (lava metals, infinite fruit, reduced big drill drain) to directly address expired miners being not fun.

Science needs a lot Valadian but we don't need much science. So it's inconvenient but no big deal until considering the Crusher Upgrade. These are 1.5x faster which makes common Crusher Upgrade worse than a rare Crusher. So we'd need enough Valadian on the map to quality recycle into better Crusher Upgrades for them to be relevant.

In the other thread Edenstudent suggest 3 or 4 module slots, 3 feels good, 4 is maybe too many. This could be another way for Crusher Upgrade to be preferable to a high quality crusher.

Also there are there are prolonged periods of silence, not much music associated with the Surface. The available tracks are great. I understand than music is a completely different process and finding suitable & available music can be a challenge, but a more complete soundtrack would be worth a lot to me.

Overall I am enjoying the early version, it's a good project.

As for vanadium, you're out of luck, large areas have 20-30 thousand units of ore per deposit at standard settings. But besides them, there are areas with 50 - 300 units of ore, their development is impractical.

The Vanadium Crusher is made primarily to obtain more "alternative" resources in space, and only then as an improved form of crusher.

There is a check mark in the settings that allows you to choose between 4 modules but without the quality of the modules and 2 but with the quality modules in the crusher.

Shchierbin was planned to be a completely quiet planet (wasteland), the fact that Sibiriada played more than 1 time is a bug. Sibiriada should be played only once as an echo of the old world, after Shchierbin fades away forever.

If you mean at 1:40:00 in this video of mine - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhDNQJJVQTE - no I didn't edit anything and I don't think I have any keys skipped. But reviewing it again, landing on Shchierbin was an unusual vertical descent, usually there is a sideways component when leaving the platform. I haven't tried to reproduce because it didn't seem a big deal. Maybe it was something to do with having dropped cargo first?

A wasteland still needs some kind of ambient noise, even if it's just wind & dust & rocks, otherwise it feels empty in an incomplete way.
