Hello!

I really like the concept of this mod, and I would like to use it in multiplayer - however, I don't think the people I play with would like this. Is it possible to have it be opt in on a per character/player basis or is that just impossible code-wise?

For example: One player has the Robot Start, while the other players run around as normal?

I have a prototype mod that should work correctly in multiplayer. But I don't have any friends who play Factorio. If possible, I can send you the mod by email or any other way for testing.

Is it possible to post it as a separate mod on this site to try so I can have my friends subscribe as well? I could distribute the file to them manually if so but that might be another solution.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to restrict access to the mod on the portal and allow it only for a certain group of people. It is possible to create a separate mod, but it is also not possible to remove the mod from the portal. Creating the same mod will clutter up the search results and may confuse other players. Therefore, the only option is to give you the mod archive so that you and your friends can check it out.
