This mod adds several chests:

• Ore storage chest: Automatically receives any ores put into "ore input chests". It will also distribute ore and coal to furnaces, please find the ratios below. It only has a specific range in which it will pull from "ore input chests", so there is still some logistics involved. Tap "ALT" to see the range as a red rectangle. ONLY BUILD ONE OF THESE
  Ratio for ore distribution into furnaces, no steel research:
  -- Iron: 3 parts
  -- Copper: 2 parts
  -- stone: 1 part
  Ratio for ore distribution into furnaces, with steel research:
  -- Iron: 4 parts
  -- Copper: 2 parts
  -- stone: 1 part
  -- steel: 1 part

• Ore input chest: Automatically sends any ores put into it to the "ore storage chest".

• <Smelting product> storage chest: Automatically receives all products from smelters if their output product matches the chests product. Otherwise acts as a normal passive provider chest. . ONLY BUILD ONE OF THESE PER RESOURCE

This is cheaty, this is also very specific for my play-styles, but maybe someone else will get a kick out of it.
