Since the latest update, I've had several buildings (not the deconstructed parts) to the Digital Storage, including 1k Logistic Bots, 10k Piercing Ammo, 41 Cargo Wagons, 400 Shotgun shells (Which I've never crafted before) and a smattering of other random bits and pieces.

Do you have any save from before the update so I could check it?

Nothing in the update has ability to add random items, most likely they somehow already were inside and the update just showed them.

Hmm. Looking back through my production stats, it seems to be 16 in-game hours ago, which is not from this update.

It may have been when I moved to the rail network, perhaps the mall had crafted some.
