Alot of the other 5dim mods seem to work, but there doesn't seem to be research for 5dim's mining drills.

Sorry it took so long to get around to this, but I wasn't able to recreate that exact issue with just Mini Machines and 5dim's New Mining. It's possible that there's another mod affecting things?

I tested with Bob Mining and 5dim's New Mining, and was able to get a similar issue (Bob's Mining takes the next_upgrade path from the vanilla mining drill, so Mini Machines follows that path, instead of the 5dim's one). But I don't think these two mods should be run together (they are basically the same piece taken from two different overhauls)
