This makes getting iron ore from the sulfuric acid path much more productive than getting it through the blast furnaces.

nvm, figured it out. the sulfuric acid used to treat the ore uses a lot of iron, so that (without productivity modules) it is actually more efficient to do it through the blast furnaces.
