Item Network

by y_e_a_r

This mod adds a new logistics mechanic: The Item Network. It replaces trains and logistics bots by teleporting items and fluids directly between Network Chests and Tanks.

i Liquid temperature

Hi, will you be adding the same liquids with different temperatures in the future

I looked into adding liquids with different temperatures but decided against it because it would be complicated to implement and I'm not playing any mods that really required it.

What mod do you want this for? If it's a common use case I could be persuaded to add it to the TODO list.

There are a lot of liquids with different temperatures in Pyanodons mods and it would be very nice to be able to add support after all. Different temperatures of liquids are very necessary for this mod.

Bob's and Angel are also used, but in smaller quantities.

Makes sense. I created an issue to track progress: https://github.com/year6b7a/item-network-factorio-mod/issues/39

Implemented in 0.5.0. Please let me know if that doesn't work for you

I'm playing AB pack while testing this mod. Fluid temperatures where working until I started working with molten tin. It doesn't let me request molten tin while providing it works well. In pipe temperature shows 213.90c but in item network menu it shows 232c. Please have a look also let me know if you need my save file.

By "item network menu" are you referring to the Network View accessed with ctrl+shift+n?

My guess is that this is caused by the non-integer temperature of 213.90 since fluid tanks don't currently support pulling fluids from the network with decimal places.

The part I don't understand is why the Network View isn't showing 213 and instead shows 232. Can you please upload your save so I can take a look?

Also is it necessary that the fluid is exactly 213.90 or would it be ok to just have 214 degree fluid?
