IndustrialCraft - Quality Converter

A chest that adjusts the quality of entire stacks of items. It can either lower them by 1 tier or increase them. Depending on the settings. It can also be increased by the % chance (if it fails, the stack will be destroyed) or lowered directly to normal quality.

b Mod doesn't work on other planets

I tried to use the quality converter (up and down) on all of the non-Nauvis basic planets (Gleba, Vulcanus, Fulgora) and none of them worked. I tried on the most recent version 1.0.3 with no luck. The items put into the converter chest just did not move anywhere despite working perfectly on Nauvis.

It works, BUT it is possible that you got into one of these states.

1) In version 1.0.1 there is a bug where the chest inventory is shared and items are randomly teleported to other chests on other planets.

2) In version 1.0.2 this bug with teleportation is fixed, BUT if you have a map created for version 1.0.1, the chests break and no longer work. The state of the chests is saved directly to the save and unfortunately, nothing helps here (fundamental change in mod functionality)

Solution:
A) New map for version 1.0.3 of the mod
B) Set the previous version of the mod on which you started the map.

In the latest version, if you have multiple output chests on a specific planet, the item will be randomly moved to one of them. This is not a bug, but a feature. Previously, it was a bug that it didn't take planets into account and items randomly teleported off the planet

I started in version 1.0.3 and had no success. If I was on another planet then no items would move anywhere.

I tried version 1.0.1 (am currently using) and now if I have a receiver on Nauvis and an upgrade/downgrade chest on another planet it will go to Nauvis. I have had no luck in either version getting the quality to change on another planet. If I have a receiver on a different planet, no items will move to it, regardless of placement order.

It may be important to note that I only have 1 upgrade/downgrade chest and one of each receiver.

I also started on 1.0.3 and can confirm what person12339 has said. It does not work on other planets.

1.0.1 - If you only have 1 receiving chest of a given type, it's not a problem. But if there are more, it's a 50/50 chance that the item will go no matter what planet the receiving chest is built on.

1.0.3 - OK I'll test other planets again when I get home

I've done a bit of experimenting and can confirm that in 1.0.1, as long as you only have one chest of each type, that it does work on other planets.

OK, I had a bug there. It should be fixed in version 1.0.4

Now it behaves correctly - working chests, isolation of chests on each planet and if there are multiple outputs, it chooses a random one (always per planet)
