Heavy Waves


Halts attacking biter groups and lets them fester until a certain time when they all attack at once. Use the periods of safety to build up defenses, or clear out the nearby nests/groups before their next big assault. Also adds a new combinator found on some spawners you can use to check the status of the next wave and a non-lethal laser turret you can unlock sometime before you get artillery to mark those spawners for your defenses to ignore, just watch out for splash damage.

This mod:
- Increases the max size of biter attacks
- Synchronizes the attacks of all groups for greater devastation (and reprieve)
- Adds a 'Biter Synchronizer' device which can be found attached to some spawners (forms during expansion events). You can wire up to this and use the biter's signals to stay alerted to when the next wave will come, how many units are gathered for it so far, and how many are currently attacking. Beware, this device breaks if you kill the spawner.
- Adds a 'Spawner Protection Laser Turret' you can use to mark biter nests to prevent defenses from targeting them
- Has options to set the frequency and variability of waves, and the max number and size of biter groups.

0.8.14 Update Overview:
- Fixes an oversight where groups that failed to reach your base would be included in the counts indefinitely, unless the biters were destroyed in some way.
