Adds a global storage network using linked chests. Set network IDs to share inventory between chests. Copy-paste from assemblers to auto-configure.

Add the ability to insert resource icons into IDs.

And add sorting of Network alphabetically

Version 0.1.4 adds resource icons to network IDs and sorts network lists alphabetically.

It would be a good idea to sort resources that are at or near zero to the top of the list, so it’s clear which ones need to be boosted—especially since Pyanodon features a vast number of resources.

Add a setting for automatic addition to the storage for each resource x.

Is it possible to route all resources to a drone network and then implement the logic from there?

Could you put empty or nearly empty resource stocks at the top of the list? This would make it easier to identify which production needs increasing, especially with Pyanodon's large number of resources.

You can already do this in version 1.4.1: open Shift+G → Global Inventory and select “Quantity ascending”. You can also use “Fill ratio ascending” to sort by stock relative to each item's configured storage limit.

Could you add an option to automatically add each resource to storage with a quantity of X?

I'm not sure I understood correctly: do you mean adding a setting for the default storage limit of new items? For example, automatically setting their limit to 100 instead of 0, without having to configure every item individually?

Could all resources be made available through the logistic robot network, with the logic then handled from there?

You can already use Global Provider Chests to supply configured items from global storage to your logistic network. However, I don't see how to expose the entire global storage directly to the logistic network with the current API.

Yes, that’s correct—add some settings where each person can enter a number.

Is it possible to add a priority for sending resources to the global storage?

Chests on the same network already share one inventory. Transfers to global storage are processed round-robin, though, so priority could matter between different networks. Did you mean a priority between networks, or between item types?

If two separate chests containing the same resource count as two distinct networks, then yes—the second chest ends up getting completely filled because it can’t move items into the network fast enough, and production grinds to a halt.

Try increasing the chest size in mod settings. The transfer time doesn't depend on the number of items, so increasing the buffer should be enough to improve the overall throughput of your network.
Currently, a fixed number of networks are updated per tick. This means that as the total number of networks increases, the time between updates for a given network also increases.
Maybe there should be a dedicated network for adding items to the global storage, which would be refreshed more frequently, possibly every tick. I can't do this for every network, though, as it would cause performance issues.

Without a logic system, you have to get creative with your global storage—grouping chests based on different production types and attaching logic directly to the chests (the lack of a priority setting for resource unloading is a real pain). Once you reach the Pyblock trains, things will start looking up!)
