I'm having trouble figuring out how to go to other stations once I'm in the shuttle.

The tooltip for the station selection list says to click on the station or type '.' if the top choice is a station that you want to go to. But when I click on a station I get "No suitable train found. Please walk." I have some stations on isolated lines because they don't need to be connected to the system, is that my issue? I'm not trying to go to those stations.

Do I need to configure stations to be shuttle stations? If so, how do I do that?

You need to craft the special shuttle module and put in the trains module slots before it accepts it as a shuttle.

Thanks for the response, I had the module in one of my train locomotives, but I learned that I need to have it in both. I have a <-> train with two locomotives back to back.
