Factory Finder

Quickly find items or fluids in your factory with vim-like shortcuts. Hover any item and press <*> to jump to next. Or press <Shift-F> to open the GUI and select an item to find. Use <N> or the GUI slider to cycle through the results. Find placed items, items in chests, or items dropped on the ground, etc. See results highlighted in-game and marked on the map. Search by planet or space platform. See a directing arrow and distance away for items on the same surface.

b Non-recoverable error

The mod Factory Finder (0.4.0) caused a non-recoverable error.
Please report this error to the mod author.

stack traceback:

I just installed this mod mid-playthrough. I'm trying to find some landfill I put in a chest somewhere but couldn't recall where.

The error occurred upon pressing shift-F after initially loading my save file. It occurred again after reloading the game. Again after reloading and checking inventory, then shift-F. Again after reloading, checking inventory, checking a chest, then pressing control F. I was finally able to get this mod's GUI to load once I loaded the game, checked my inventory, and checked a few chests.

So maybe the mod is looking for some value that hadn't been created yet due to this being a fresh install of the mod on an existing save.

I'm going to put this here since i got a very similar error. Happens as soon as i hit ctrl-f to open the finder dialog:

Note: I just updated to 0.4.0 after having already used factorio finder before, but having it disabled for a week or 2 and just reenabled it, if that's relevant. I also just updated my Py mods.

Update: My problem was having both factorio finder and facorio search installed at the same time, having only this mod does not crash.

Thanks for reporting this! It should be fixed now in v0.4.1 I had a copy paste bug in a branch that I didn't hit in my testing.
