Make nights pitch black, customise the lengths of day/night cycles, enable night only attacks and darken space platforms/distant planets as they get further from the sun! All configurable.

Would it be possible to add burner lamps for early game? A way to counter The pitch black night. Thank you!
For such a lamp check Larger Lamps.
Is there something missing from other mods that add lamps? Otherwise I could add Larger Lamps as an optional dependency if it helps!
That mod has a lot of different lamps. I Just thought that a single burner varianty of the vanilla lamp would suit this mod Just right.
I dont know if that mod allows you to deactivate the other ones?

I might just make a new content mod to add these little things that go well with my other mods... Flares, lamps, bullets, rockets, walls etc.
I don't love inflating the settings menus or the filesizes with the pngs required for new entities.
