Make nights pitch black, customise the lengths of day/night cycles, enable night only attacks and darken space platforms/distant planets as they get further from the sun! All configurable.

This mod overwrites the trench from Maraxis, which is normally pitch black to be lit based on the value of the peak darkness percent setting

Done + I've now made an API for mods to exclude surfaces like that on their end! See this thread.
I'm not able to test stuff very easily at the moment so I appreciate the help finding these exceptions.
