Start underground. The Nauvis surface is hostile and normal surface construction is forbidden; dig out cave space, use shafts, and build your factory below.
This happens for both player and construction robots deconstructing the entity. This can be mitigated by reading contents using the circuit network, but doesn't feel like it should be intended behavior
