Start underground. The Nauvis surface is hostile and normal surface construction is forbidden; dig out cave space, use shafts, and build your factory below.
DeepCore scanner is telling me iron ore node is right beneath my feet but there is nothing there? I keep scanning the same 4 pixels(ish) and they tell me to walk North/East/West but nothing is there. Restarted and same thing happens, Water discovers fine but Iron Ore patches never spawn.
Just started a play through and same issue but with the copper node. Found water just fine but the copper (Which the scanner is leading me to after water) is not spawned when I get to the location
I'm having the same issue. There was a fix to stop the node from destroying the walls recently, that might be stopping the node from spawning if it is too close to the starting bunker.
