I have a suggestion.
In 2.0 Assembly Machine can "set recipe" and "read ingredients" - this way one can get ingredients for an item.
But... its too bulky... So I've made this mod:

Simply put it's a simple Assembly Machine but with 1x1 size and almost zero crafting speed.
Can you support it's inside Compact circuits?
