Cheese's Concentrated Solar

This mod adds concentrated solar power to Factorio, in two components:

• Heliostat Mirrors, Mirrors that rotate to beam 1.1 °C of solar intensity, roughly 110KW, to the closest tower within their range of 35 tiles.
• Solar Towers, which consume solar intensity:
  • The Solar Power Tower, which turns solar energy into up to 60MW of heat.
  • The Solar Laser Tower, which concentrates solar energy into up to 60MW of solar devastation.

Features

• Power towers produce up to 600 °C of heat, limiting the effective range of heat pipes.
• Mirrors automatically rotate to face towards their closest tower.
• Light ray and heat VFX (can be disabled in settings to save rendering time).
• Power towers have their own GUI for viewing their current rates.
• UPS efficient, doing most work during tower and mirror placement not per tick, and with incremental tower state updates.

Mod Compatibility

• Glass, adds glass and other ingredients to recipes when available.
• Krastorio 2, 1.9 times power multiplier (changeable in settings), tweaked crafting recipes (included glass, lithium-chloride, etc.).
• Space Exploration, Towers require space science, work as a heat source for space, and respect surface solar multipliers.
