The infinite research has no config option to disable.
Although it is passive and just sits there, takes a slot on the list of research available, and clashes with other mods.
My issue with the research is the Ratio of Inserter bonus to Stack inserter bonus.
I prefer the ratio that other research mods have, of 0.5 Inserter and 4 Stack inserter.
So for every 8 bonus to Stack Inserters, the normal inserters get 1.
