Measure your belt throughput — and get alerted when it drops!
Belt Counter adds a combinator that measures how many items pass through your belts per second. It displays the rate above the counter and can transmit it as a circuit signal, making it easy to monitor production or trigger low-throughput alarms.
How to use:
- Connect one belt segment per monitored belt to the counter’s input.
- Enable Read contents and select Pulse on those belts.
- Choose an output signal in the counter to use the measured rate in your circuit network.
The counter averages throughput over eight seconds to smooth out short fluctuations. The display shows two decimal places; the circuit output is rounded up to a whole number.
Updated for Factorio 2.1, with persistent measurements across save/load cycles and support for Space Age construction events. Space Age is optional.
