This mod is my attempt to expand Factorio with a non-metal intermediate in a stockalike fashion. It’s used for products that might need an insulating or elastic material before oil processing is available. Therefore a burner chemical plant is provided so the engineer can dive into chemistry right from the get-go.
Customization:
- Increase abundance of Coal
- Optional new resource to use alongside Coal
- Enable new recipes to combine and interact with oil processing
- Remove ingredients from certain recipes
(Mod settings might expand depending on enabled mods.)
Most Mod Settings are hidden by default. They can be made visible by installing Full Control. Tweaked values remain even after removing Full Control!
If you feel like a critical setting is missing, please make a suggestion in the Discussion tab.

- Crushing Industry
- Scrappy Industry
- Any Planet Start (Vulcanus, Fulgora and Gleba)
Should generally be compatible with other mods or at least not interfere with them.
Motivation:
It always seemed odd to make circuits out of metals alone, so I’m trying to modify that.
