Start on any of the first three planets: Vulcanus, Gleba, or Fulgora. Choose your planet in the startup mod settings before starting a new game. Compatible with many modded planets!

b Mods still changing research prerequisites when not selected as a start planet

Wasn't exactly sure what to title this, but I recently started a heavily modded playthrough with, among other mods, k2so and a variety of other planet mods, with better planets to organize them into looking pretty. Among those planet mods are a large amount of the "base planet replacers" made by rjdunlap - froodara, ithurice, etc.
The problem comes from those base planet replacers having code in their planet.lua that moves science stuff around as you could expect but I'm starting on nauvis and just have those planets floating around in my system in addition to the default planets - on its own, not an issue, just means I have the ability to craft a recycler or a centrifuge from the start. For some reason though with steel, it only gave me steel plates and not steel gears or beams.
As a result I was just wondering if it was possible to make it so that those changes to science only happen if you have that planet selected as your starting planet
