You know like the start on fulgora, well there is problem with the oil procesing research, becose on fulgora there isnt any oil patches. So please fix it THX.
I was able to unlock oil processing by placing an offshore pump. This unlocked chemical plants, but not oil refineries. How would I get sulfur for blue science if I can't turn heavy oil into light oil into petroleum into sulfur? Also, isn't Advanced Oil needed for that (but that requires blue science)?
You don't need oil refineries to do oil cracking, and you can research sulfur after unlocking oil processing. This mod doesn't just move techs around, it also changes some of their unlocks. You can actually search the tech tree for recipes and it will show you the technology that unlocks the recipe, which is super helpful for figuring stuff out. None of the planets have any softlocks, I playtested all of them before releasing it.
Well I tried it now, started on the fulgora/vulcanus planet and I cant get off. Without the Oil process tech I cant get chemical plants and blue science which are needet to get to toher planets...
Having same problem, (Fulgora start) cracking heavy then light oil to petroleum recipes still unlocked at [Advanced oil processing] which still needs blue science.
Only have a few mods and as far as i know none of them other than this patch basegame technologies.
[Edit:] The problem is probably with my modlist, your patches just don't seem to kick in for me. Don't have my home computer for a while but when I get back I'll try if I can narrow it down what's causing the problem and report back.
