The "Space Spidertron" mod adds a flying spidertron drone. why not use it as a replacement for a jetpack (give the opportunity to sit in it and transfer his research to a jetpack/spacesuit)
Sure it would be cool, but compatibility with space exploration like this is a lot of work that I’m not particularly interested in at the moment, sorry. Anyone reading is welcome to implement it and submit it as a pull request :)
