Experimental feature, based on 1.1.0 hidden "linked-chest" prototype. Adds chests that when built next to each other, they are automatically linked to share the same inventory. Useful for belt balancing and train station wagon balancing. (Locale: English, Deutsch, 正體中文, Português Brasileiro, Русский)

It's possible to have separated sets linked chests. Place 3 chests in a row, then remove the middle chest. You now have 2 separate "sets" of chests with the same ID. From there, you can continue to build off of one set and removing the chests that are "in-between". The result is that you have 2 (or more) sets of chests which are physically separated but still share the link ID.

no exploit, see 'Autolink on Hotkey & Shortcut' section of the mod description.
it is possible to achieve this split link through manual linking.

It's possible to do this split linking even with the manual linking option disabled.

Linked Chests are an "exploit" on there own. This is an attempt at balancing them, but it is still a cheat item at it's core.
