Why not make "no lava in pipes" an optional dependency?

Let me see what I can do.

From version 2.1.13, when you first load the save, any lava pumps are replaced by regular offshore pumps. This should restore everyone's base to working order — please let me know if not.

These pumps work now, though I'm still in favor of having a choice to not have to use that mod, same way that you can choose to play with flying enemies mod for hard fulgora.

Just like the settings for other changes in this mod, yes we need that.

It's a bit tricky to add for an external mod but we can get it eventually. Note that until then you're able to make the dependency optional in your local copy by editing the info.json.

Could you maybe just make the dependency for your mod optional?
Personally really like the other challenges but no lava in pipes is not my cup of tea

That's a reasonable request given the mod is a significant change to Vulcanus. I've changed it to optional.
