This mod allows you to globally tweak the performance of all logistic and construction robots using simple decimal multipliers.

Tweakable Stats

  • Energy Capacity: Higher values mean robots can travel farther before needing to recharge, but they will also take longer to fully charge.
  • Energy Charging: Higher values mean robots recharge faster at roboports. Use this to compensate for a larger energy capacity.
  • Energy Consumption: Lower values make robots consume less energy, allowing them to fly farther. This affects your factory's total power consumption.
  • Speed: Higher values mean robots move faster. This does not affect their energy consumption per meter, so their maximum travel distance remains the same.
  • Approach Distance: Lower values make robots queue closer to roboports when waiting to recharge, leading to more efficient queues and faster overall throughput.

How to Use

Tweak the values in Settings > Mod Settings > Startup from the main menu. All settings default to 1.0 (no change).

  • Example: A Speed factor of 2.0 will double the speed of all robots, while 0.5 will halve it.

Example Use Case: Longer Flight Distance

If you want the quality-of-life improvement of having robots fly farther without changing their overall power draw, you can increase both Energy Capacity and Energy Charging by the same amount.

This is especially useful when combined with mods that increase roboport range, like my other mod: Roboport Range Multiplier.
