I noticed this when trying to void iron plates in version 2.2.13. Whenever you try to recycle a chest, it instead returns the open container item. This overrides the vanilla behaviour of returning iron plates. Likely because this is a deepcopy of the Iron chest, it has auto_recycle=true, even though putting the lid back on is an alternate recipe.
