I was digging around the discussion page as I was having what I thought was the same issue as this post (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/RenaiTransportation/discussion/687090a7641c4f2c519ab18e), but I'm still having issues with signals being sent and the thrower not updating its range.
I know the thrower is receiving the signal as I have alerts set up when certain signals are sent and those are working fine, but the inserter is still getting stuck occasionally. Part of it was solved when I turned off Overflow prevention, but then it cropped up again. Is there something I'm missing about thrower inserters that's a feature, or is this a bug?
Here's a blueprint string for what I'm doing. It should detect when a chest is empty, send out a signal of the distance to the chest, and then it does a little math to make sure that if two signals are sent at the same time that it runs the higher distance one first and rechecks. This might be a really complicated and spaghetti-ass mess, but I'm not entirely sure what I can do to improve it.
I have a few other mods installed like the Bob's Suite and Factorissimo 3, but I get the same issue without them.
