b Weird zipline glitch (Capable of removing items)

I've lately been noticing that a part of my inventory just disappeared every so often and I found the issue. It seems to be some weird error with mech armor toolbelt equipment, like it turns off whenever you ride, removing those slots from your inventory and then after finishing you get them back but without the items (bots seem to be added to the nearest network, other items simply get removed).

It is a very peculiar bug as sometimes it doesn't even remove the slots themselves but their filters.

I am uncertain as of now why this happens, but it certainly has to do with some automated disabling of the toolbelt.
(It might be some way that you have worked around the power armor having it's modules disabled resulting in this gllitchy toolbelt equipment reaction)

Looking over it I do not currently take tool belts into account so it makes sense that that would cause a problem. Knowing that though, I think I know a better workaround that should preserve all the items when switching to/from ziplining. Thanks for the report m80👍

No problem, this is a great mod and it brings many laughs to my world. Also is the lickjaw ever gonna get more stuff for it? Maybe like you could plant them and stuff?

I just discovered that this might not be the main cause. It might also have something to do with some modded characters actually adding or removing inventory and while airborn that inventory is not considered.

I think this might be the actual problem because if you like remove your modular armor, the slots still retain their filters while here it removes them completely.

I have been playing with a character named "des the wickerbeast"

I don't think it has to do with custom characters, it turns out that copying the player and their armor doesn't immediately take tool belt inventory bonuses into account but swapping the armor directly from the original player to the copy does. I've implemented that in 2.1.3, give it a try and let me know if it works. The testing I did seemed successful
