Tired of power generation being the easiest part of building a factory? People keep making fun of your green modules? Enough is enough.

This mod lets you set separate multipliers for energy consumption by type. See picture. You can increase or decrease power consumption. Somehow there's 500 power-related mods on here and not one of them does this, as far as I can tell.

Should be compatible with all mods.


The mod does NOT affect:

  • Power production by boilers, steam engines, turbines, nuclear/fusion plants, heating towers. But there is a setting for solar panels.
  • Fuel consumption by vehicles or spaceship thrusters.
  • Equipment for armor or vehicle grids, except roboport equipment.
  • Accumulator capacity and charging/discharging speeds.
  • Robot range, airtime, or charging time. (Because it doubles their battery size, charge rate, and power consumption, and those changes cancel out.)
  • Buildings that use fluid energy sources, such as gas furnaces from other mods. (Might add this in the next version.)

Other than these, the mod affects all the usual machines like assemblers, inserters, labs, furnaces, beacons, laser turrets, roboports, robots, etc.


For modpacks: to blacklist specific entities, you can either use the startup setting (a comma-separated string of entity IDs) or you can set entity.PowerMultiplier_ignore = true in the data stage.
