What does this do ?
Alone, nothing ! This is like a music album, but you need the music player first : https://mods.factorio.com/mod/PI-house-made-music
Then it adds all the songs as game music and / or as instrument for the speakers !
Why ?
Because different music genre went into different mod, this is techno, like an asset pack, and if the music payer's logic is made smarter, there's no need to redownload all the music.
No why this album ?
You should download it if you like techno, electronic music, with a twist of middle eastern influences . If on Fulgora you thought about throwing a party like it's Dubai. Or if you are interested in joining the Desert Unit of Sound Travellers yourself, it's not a closed membership club, songs are added as time goes. Also if you like the preview clips :)
Did you use AI ?
Yes, for the music and the pictures, it is mentionned when it's the case in the descriptions, check the discussion page, each song has its own , most of them with preview and references !
Latest additions Spotlight :
-
25- Rewind (5min29) [Fulgora] [124 BPM]
No preview for this one.
Genre : Techno, Deep-House, Progressive , Oriental/Middle-East
Inspiration : It is a rewind, it resemble the first song of the album ! Also inspired by tapes, it's like the floppy disc of music, and there's this guy who beat factorio on floppy disc
Comment : It is a long song, part of those more progressive after the 18th. But a punchy one from that group. It use a similar modal progression than the first song after the parts with vocals, At least that's what i told the AI to do, i'm not sure the words are properly understood neither by the AI nor by me, but i sure like what i receive when i use those in prompts. Hopefully it sound like a rewind. Vocals are inspired / related to the voice you can hear in Fulgora's Siren. It was also made with some bits of Roswell, for the sonorities of the instrument to keep consistency. You can think of it as a "Reload" , sometimes unfortunatly it's necessary, sometimes it was planned along, but not this time, you can hear a bit of despair in the vocals, it's more of an unfortunate rewind, like when your base get rekt and it feel faster to reload than to fix everything. That shouldn't happen all that often in Fulgora, unless you're playing with ennemies !
