b Error loading mods with VTK Cannon Turret

Failed to load mods: ..._casting__/prototypes/compatibilty/vtk-cannon-turret.lua:50: attempt to index global 'item_sounds' (a nil value)

I get the above error when trying to load this mod with Cannon Turret in Factorio version 2.0.55.
