I have a train <L1-L2-W-W-W-W-L3-L4>. If I put fuel in L1, I get fuel balanced to L3. This also happens if I put fuel in L2, I get fuel balanced to L4. Is this how it's supposed to work? I don't know if the trains being asymmetric matters, just thought it was odd that L1/L4 and L2/L3 aren't pairs.
